Pixelotto ... I've started so I'll finish (if it kills me)

Richard Jones, iMagineer-in-Chief //  24 February 2007

I'm sick of Pixelotto.  You're sick of Pixelotto.  The whole world, in fact, is pretty sick of Pixelotto.  Yet there is some strange urge and perverse determination that is keeping me clicking.  This wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for the fact that the site is slooooooooowww beyond belief.  I mean it literally cripples my PC every time I log in to play - the internet connection grinds to a halt, the mouse lolls and jerks with all the co-ordination of a drunk man on a Saturday booze up, and as for trying to multitask with several applications - just forget it.

This must be one of the worst online engines I've had the displeasure to use.  And the more you click the longer it takes to update between every single click.  Honestly, even if I should be fortunate enough to fluke winning this damn thing the effort to reward ratio will rate me somewhere between "minimum wage stooge" and "total sucker".

Plus, as previously posted, the actual sites you link to are almost without exception dung-like in their quality.

After nearly two months of determined clicking I have nearly polished off the entire board.  My life is slowly slipping away of course, and this cannot be a sensible way to spend your short time on this earth.  But I have psychologically got myself close enough to completion that I am going to hang in there.

And my reward so far?  Seeing the Pixelotto prize fund actually drop from $150,400 back down to £149,800...  I sure hope there isn't some dangerous PayPal refund out there that has now set a precedent that could see the entire Pixelotto pack of cards tumble.

Ho hum.
